Tell me, what do you like so much about your job? The People Group?

As a Recruiter at The People Group I have a combined position. On the one hand, I am a Corporate Recruiter and am busy recruiting new colleagues for internal projects. On the other hand, I am an Employment Mediator/Consultant and I am busy recruiting new colleagues for external projects for our clients. Because I am so close to the action, I know how various functions are structured and which profiles match them.

How can you best present yourself as a job candidate during a job application?

Good preparation is half the battle, it sounds very cliché, but you see that candidates - too often - do not prepare properly for the interview. So immerse yourself in the organization and the position. In addition, it is important to know in advance what you are going to say. Write down for yourself what your strengths are, what your successes have been and why you think you are suitable for the position. Also prepare a number of questions that you want answered about the organization and the content of the position. Asking questions is sometimes easier than answering questions. By being unprepared and waiting, you make things unnecessarily difficult for yourself in a conversation.
